Administrative Support Specialist

#### Essential Functions:
* Provides administrative support to the Program Administrator and other managerial staff.
* Maintains filing systems and performs internal administrative support work.
* Interacts with DFPS staff, including program administrators, program directors, and supervisors.
* Assists in coordinating efforts among staff to ensure efficient program processes.
* Prepares, edits, and distributes various types of print and electronic correspondence.
* Develops and maintains filing and record-keeping systems.
* Coordinates meetings, produces agenda items, and distributes meeting notes.
#### Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
* Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Skill in effective verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
