Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Wise Staffing Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our manufacturing department, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise hourly team members to achieve expected levels of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Responsible for all initial training of new hires and continuous training of the safety and quality management systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and act on process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct process quality audits and develop a sustainment plan when audits reveal points outside of specification.
  • Communication: Foster and maintain good employee relations through all the appropriate methods of communication and positive employee relations practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: High school or bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience in the ceramic industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and quality standards, bi-lingual speaking a plus.
