About the Opportunity

Albemarle County Public Schools is seeking experienced athletic coaches to join its general pool of candidates. This pool will be used to fill future coaching vacancies as they become available.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $4,000-$6,000 per year, based on the coaching stipend provided by the school district.

About the Role

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can lead our student-athletes to success in various sports. As an athletic coach with our school district, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your students and help them develop important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and instruct student-athletes in various sports and activities
  • Develop and implement game plans and strategies to achieve team goals
  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for all students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive team culture

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience coaching or leading sports teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A commitment to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment
