Job Summary

The Equipment Rental Consultant is a vital inside sales position responsible for assisting both telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of various types of construction and industrial equipment.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, focusing on understanding their equipment needs, negotiating terms, and processing orders.

Additionally, this position requires strong administrative capabilities and a commitment to delivering customer satisfaction through professionalism at all times.

Ancillary responsibilities may include aiding in the logistics of equipment delivery and mentoring other team members.

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver's license required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the equipment rental industry or a 4-year degree with 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer and administrative tasks
  • Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process is preferred
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish or other languages) may be advantageous in certain locations


The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as required by the job.
