Meat Cutter and Wrapper Specialist

Be a Meat Department Expert:
Cut, wrap, and prepare meat products according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company expectations.
Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team, communicating effectively and being flexible to meet business needs.
Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them, ensuring seamless execution of business processes.
Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure quality and date control standards for meat products, securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Be an advocate for the department and the club, valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in a meat department, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
