Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Director to lead our Clinical and Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, and patient food services management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides comprehensive nutrition assessment and modified diet formulation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Establishes and oversees the implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population.
  • Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Ensures compliance with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient preferences within guidelines.
  • Participates in and leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable.
  • Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
