Radiation Therapy Tech Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Tech to join our team at Harbin Clinic. As a Radiation Therapy Tech, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective administration of radiation therapy treatments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Participate in all technical aspects of radiation therapy, including simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician.
* Operate radiation-producing equipment utilizing radiation safety measures and perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures.
* Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
* Provide thorough documentation of simulation set-up and procedure information.
* Review treatment protocol criteria to ensure adherence of treatment delivery to guidelines.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Certificate or degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
* ARRT certification required.
* Previous experience in a radiation department through employment or clinical training.
* CPR training required.
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide great customer service under stressful situations.
* Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner in both verbal and written form.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to adapt quickly to change.
* Ability to work both independently and with physicians and co-workers.
* Ability to use and manage time efficiently.
* Ability to follow the direction of physicians and supervisory personnel.
