The Automotive Service Advisor plays a crucial role in managing service appointments within the service department while also promoting additional necessary services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Organize the detailing of vehicles prior to customer delivery.
  • · Schedule delivery or pick-up times with customers to ensure convenience.
  • · Conduct follow-ups with customers post-service to confirm their satisfaction with the work performed.
  • · Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
  • · Possess knowledge of the methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials utilized in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • · Demonstrate experience with a variety of hand tools, shop equipment, and automotive diagnostic tools.
  • · Understand basic automotive repair and servicing techniques.
  • · Follow both verbal and written instructions with precision.
  • · Show a willingness to learn about new automotive technologies.
  • · Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • · Maintain detailed records and reports on a daily basis.
  • · Manage multiple priorities effectively, organizing workload to meet deadlines.

  • · Proficient in Dealer Management Systems, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of mechanical operations.
  • Preferred experience in sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Must successfully complete a Hair Follicle Drug test.
  • Must pass a background screening.
