Job Overview

The Northern Maine Medical Center seeks an experienced and skilled Nursing Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Nursing and Skilled Care units. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality care is provided to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the State of Maine.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (Master's preferred).
