**Job Title:** Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our custodial team as a Maintenance Worker. This is a full-time, 12-month position at Kankakee Junior High School.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and prior experience in custodial work. They must be able to follow instructions, learn new skills, and communicate effectively with staff and students.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school facilities, including restrooms, classrooms, and hallways. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as emptying trash and recycling bins, and assisting with special events.
