2nd Shift Packaging Lead Opportunity

This role is part of our team at Jobot, a company dedicated to delivering top-quality products in the Northeast region. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent 2nd Shift Packaging Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation of packaging lines, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of packaging activities with overall production schedule.
  • Implement and maintain safety and sanitation protocols in the packaging area.
  • Train and mentor packaging staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Troubleshoot packaging equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance team as necessary.
  • Conduct regular quality checks, ensuring the integrity and quality of our packaged products.
  • Participate in inventory management, ensuring adequate supply of packaging materials.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of GMP and HACCP standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing packaging lines, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related field is a plus.
