We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioral Therapist/Skills Trainer at LifeStream. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with personal care needs and skill training.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with personal care needs and skill training in their homes and in the community.
- Work independently to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence and community inclusion.
- Use your vehicle for transportation of consumers and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Assist individuals in meeting goals identified in their DESE Support Plan and authorized treatment plan.
- Implement positive behavior support plans and behavioral interventions as directed by the LABA.
- Collect data related to goals and interventions and complete session notes in a timely manner.
- Current Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) certification - preferred.
- Maintenance of an acceptable CORI and fingerprinting.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Negative drug screen.
- Use of personal vehicle for work purposes.
- Commitment to the philosophy of community inclusion.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience in the field of Human Services.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Prior experience working with individuals with complex behavioral needs.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities.
LifeStream offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $19.50 for Skills Trainer / $25.50 for RBT, medical insurance starting at $30 weekly, and a supportive work environment that values community inclusion and quality work performance.
