The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing and serving quality food according to established recipes and following the menu prepared by the dietician. This position requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or dietician.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and serve quality food according to established recipes and menu plans.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Adhere to Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility policies and procedures.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Administrator and/or dietician's instructions.
