About Relativity Space Internships

At Relativity Space, we're pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology and additive manufacturing innovation. Our mission is to create humanity's industrial base on Mars, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our team as interns.

The Factory Test Team

We're responsible for all hazardous testing in our Long Beach facilities, using our breadth of experience and collaborative engineering approach to support everything from large structural tests to precise valve actuation. Our team designs, builds, and operates all test assets from initial concept to test execution.

Internship Opportunities

We're offering internship opportunities in three specialized teams: Test Structures Engineering, Test Fluids Engineering, and Test Systems Engineering. As an intern, you'll work on real-world projects, such as testing flight quick disconnects, designing and building test stands, and integrating infrastructure to run tests more efficiently.

Requirements
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student earning a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of one or more of the following areas: fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, structural design, common instrumentation
  • Hands-on project experience is strongly desired, but not required
