About the Role

Puratos is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to maintain production output and ensure continuous operation.
  • Provide resources and support to help the engineering team execute projects efficiently throughout the plant.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systems.
  • Fabricate components, tools, and equipment as needed.
  • Execute and complete PM (Preventative Maintenance) work without production interruption as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Lead.
  • Maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); work order entry, completions, requisitions, inventory.
  • Utilize SAP for completing Purchase requisitions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience working on and around Sanitary Systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment working with pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps.
  • Ability to fabricate components, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Boiler Experience; Blue or Black Seal Boiler License is a plus.
  • Desire and ability to learn about new and existing processing systems.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at elevated heights.
  • Food Manufacturing and GMP Environment Experience preferred.
  • Ability to work on electrical systems preferred; motors, drives, PLCs, temperature, flow, and other control instruments and devices.
  • Stainless Steel and Sanitary Welding skills is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
