Position Overview:

Allied Reliability is in search of a qualified Piping Systems Reliability Engineer with a valid API 570 certification for a temporary contract role. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead initiatives aimed at continuous enhancement and ensure the efficacy of fixed equipment inspection protocols.
- Concentrate on ASME 31.3 piping while providing assistance with ASME Section 8 vessels as required.
- Deliver engineering assistance to the facility to guarantee optimal reliability performance of processing assets through data analysis, failure investigations, and project execution.
- Identify and rectify program deficiencies, including hydro procedures and circuit consolidation.
- Oversee and conduct analyses of piping failures employing problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
- Lead and engage in project design, specification, and commissioning to achieve the desired reliability and maintainability of both new and modified assets, considering life-cycle costs.
- Maintain facility scorecards.
- Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Additional Duties:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the site Supervisor.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical processes, particularly concerning fixed equipment, is required.
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness of fixed equipment inspection programs.
- Familiarity with conducting various analyses related to piping failures using standard problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other departments and lead projects involving design, specifications, and commissioning to ensure optimal reliability and maintenance of new and revitalized assets.
- A 2 or 4-year degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
- Possession of API 570 certification is mandatory.
