### Responsibilities

* Handle and store food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines
* Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor
* Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling practices
* Assist with the set-up of the food tray line
* Assemble diet trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or to units
* Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures

### Qualifications

* Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional food service setting
