Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the quality and effectiveness of resident programs within the memory care unit, including conducting admission assessments and developing care plans.
  • Creating and executing engaging therapeutic activities for both groups and individuals.
  • Meeting physical demands of the role, including lifting as necessary.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Recreational Therapist.
  • Experience of one to three years working with individuals with memory impairments.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule: Flexibility in scheduling is required, with shifts available from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, including coverage for weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
