Key Responsibilities
  • Fire Protection System Design: Design and implement fire suppression systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and other fire protection systems to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Code Analysis and Compliance: Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with relevant fire and life safety codes, including the International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Sciences, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a strong background in design, implementation, and project management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards, excellent communication and project management skills, and proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
