Pay Range: $75/hour plus OT, benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Safety Engineer to join our team at Manpower Engineering. As a key member of our Systems Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our clients' aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing safety analyses, audits, and reviews on component, system, and avionics level areas of commercial and military aircraft
- Conducting root cause and corrective action, risk mitigation, verification, and validation activities
- Creating and submitting related documentation and safety plans
- Collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure safety standards are met
Requirements:
- Minimum BS degree in Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in systems engineering and safety engineering in Aerospace with both commercial and military aircraft systems
- Experience with ARP 476, MIL-STD-882, DO-178, and DO-254
- Experience with safety analyses, audits, reviews, documentation, and risk mitigation plans
- S16 certification experience
