Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Main Function:
Deliver high-quality mammography radiographic results with minimal supervision. Coordinate these services within and outside the Health System to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Health System.
Required Job Specific Competencies:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all equipment related to therapeutic and diagnostic responsibilities.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient's age.
- The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs.
Guard the confidentiality of sensitive information, including patients and staff of the Health System.
Qualifications:
Current valid New York State License and ARRT certification.
Satisfactory completion of two years of AMA-approved school of radiographic technology and one year of equivalent experience.
One year of experience in mammography procedures at an accredited Health Care Facility is preferred.
Basic CPR training is required or to be completed within three months of hire.
Pay Range: $35.20-$46.20
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
