Overview

M Health Fairview is an award-winning nonprofit health care system with a strong commitment to driving a healthier future. We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team in River Falls, WI and Woodbury, MN.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Clinician will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care addressing mental health and substance abuse conditions, health behaviors, stressors, social determinants of health, and ineffective patterns of health care utilization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing diagnostic evaluations
  • Providing consultation to the team regarding diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and strategies to engage patients in health and behavior change
  • Supporting the team with the day-to-day management of complex patients
  • Providing brief evidence-based direct care to patients
  • Engaging in population health activities to support risk stratified populations
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology with emphasis on clinical practice
  • Minnesota state licensure, eligible to be licensed in the State of Minnesota and eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities
  • Experience in providing diagnostic assessments and direct evidence-based clinical services to children and adults
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred
