This role involves leveraging design expertise to assist customers in selecting high-quality casual furniture, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering enduring customer relationships.
- Customer Engagement: Utilize design skills to guide customers in choosing upscale casual furniture.
- Exceptional Service: Provide outstanding customer service and cultivate long-lasting relationships by understanding customer needs and aligning them with suitable products.
- Order Management: Process furniture purchase orders and input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Pricing Accuracy: Ensure proper pricing and signage on display models.
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall sales goals.
- Product Knowledge: Act as an internal resource regarding custom furniture and vendor options to effectively assist customers.
- Shopping Experience: Enhance the shopping experience for customers and create a welcoming environment.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the indoor display area; restock and tidy displays as needed.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to company safety policies and procedures consistently.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Indoor Environment: Primarily indoor work with some exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and engage in physical activities throughout the day.
- Lifting Requirements: Occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and manage weights up to 75 pounds.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service and retail sales experience required; design knowledge is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
