Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with project managers, technical teams, and clients to ascertain refresh requirements, project scope, and timelines.
  • Travel to client locations to execute technology refresh tasks, adhering to set schedules while minimizing disruption to client operations.
  • Unpack, set up, configure, and validate new hardware and software in accordance with client specifications.
  • Facilitate data migration to ensure a seamless transition of user data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality assessments to confirm all systems are functional, updated, and compliant with security standards.
  • Safely remove and dispose of obsolete equipment in an environmentally responsible manner, following established company protocols.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting during the refresh process to resolve any unexpected challenges.
  • Maintain precise records of all equipment deployments, configurations, and client interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about the refresh progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and contribute to the collective knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant coursework are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology deployment, hardware configuration, and software installation.
  • Strong comprehension of operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Proficient in diagnosing technical issues and resolving them promptly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the capability to adhere to processes accurately.
  • Basic understanding of data migration and backup methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently, particularly in a dynamic, on-site environment.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to various client locations as necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport equipment, ascend ladders, and perform tasks in diverse settings.
