Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will set up and maintain the surgical field and assist the surgeon during operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in meeting goals and initiatives for the surgery department, including room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
Assist in training and orienting new associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
Maintain a safe environment for patients and adhere to sterile techniques.

Requirements:

Graduate of a surgical technology program or a school of practical nursing with a certificate of surgical technology through the NBSTSA, NCCT, or a graduate of a school of practical nursing with a current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
BLS healthcare provider training required.
