Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment using radiation therapy equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and simulators
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about radiation therapy and its effects

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiation Therapist in the state of practice
  • Completion of a radiation therapy program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or cancer center setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
