Job Title: Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing Facility

Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition to identify needs and develop care plans.
  • Administer medications, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care provided and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, and family members.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (Preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required).
  • Current RN License in the State of TN or another compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
