LPN - Skilled Nursing Facility - PRN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Starr Regional Medical Center's Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a PRN position, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to patient assessment under the direction of an RN, collecting data for analysis and development of care plans.
  • Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection, wound care, and medication administration, as needed.
  • Assist RNs with patient care, including activities of daily living, personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Monitor and document patient status, communicating with RNs, physicians, patients, and families as necessary.
  • Work as an advocate for patient physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
  • Completion of LP/LV Nurse program (Diploma or Associate's)
  • LPN/LVN License in the State of TN or another compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
