We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to assist in all aspects of the Optum mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and clinic staff members.
• Process prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Manage the ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmacy supplies.
• Handle and process medication orders from wholesalers.
• Maintain inventory records by verifying medication stock and entering data into the computer system.
• Collaborate with the pharmacist to assist in pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform various clerical duties related to the pharmacy department.
• Exhibit strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
• Daily deliveries to facilities and the post office will be required one week per month (all within close proximity); all technicians will rotate this responsibility. Personal vehicles will be used for deliveries, and mileage will be reimbursed (deliveries will not be made to residences).

Required Qualifications:

• Active and Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Indiana.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
• Must have received the Flu vaccine.
• Ability to make daily deliveries one week per month (using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement).

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Experience in pharmacy and prescription data entry.
• Immunization Certification.
