Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance facilities service to our customers, completing service tickets in a designated territory, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that changes and problems are documented and communicated effectively.
- Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision.
- Maintain clear lines of professional communication with Lead Technicians, Field Supervisors, and office staff on open issues and progress of all work assigned.
- Execute assigned programs and work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
- Document and communicate work required and executed out in the field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call availability.
- Ability to travel within a mile radius to customer sites.
- 5+ years of experience in most or all of the following skills: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Painting, Drywall Repair, Flooring Repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Related vocational education or certifications preferred.
- Proficient computer and mobile phone skills.
- Intermediate proficiency reading assembly and blueprint drawings.
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to provide own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Capability to apply up to 200 pounds of torque.
- Ability to work bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down.
