Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving business growth in the aggregates market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a sales team to achieve annual sales targets and improve market share.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet industry standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential new customers.
- Review market conditions regularly and report on sales mix, prices, and volumes.
- Participate in sales forecasts and create annual budgets and targets.
- Work with customers and our credit department to optimize accounts receivable.
- Represent the company within industry associations.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of aggregates and/or sand & gravel experience.
- At least 4 years of proven, successful sales experience.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and critical thinking.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or at least 7 years of sales experience in the construction materials industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years supervising others.
- 5 years in a management role.
