Position Overview

Salary Range:
The Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) is determined by AAMC salary benchmarks for Medicine, MD, with a range from $234,000 to $245,000. The base pay is established by rank and/or step at appointment and includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which allows for additional compensation eligibility.

Position Description

The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Basic and Clinical Immunology is in search of a dynamic and qualified clinician with exceptional credentials in Allergy and Immunology for the role of Health Science Assistant, Associate, or full Professor.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Applicants must possess an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s), board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology, and a valid California Medical License. A demonstrated record of clinical research and publications is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in Pediatric or Internal Medicine are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to provide patient care in an academic environment, educate medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in independent clinical research. Rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience.
