Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occasional Head Start Preschool Cook to join our team at Community Action Wayne Medina. As a substitute cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to children in our Head Start programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs of children
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to plan menus and ensure food safety
  • Encourage parent participation in the nutrition program
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment
  • Assist with food service and mealtime activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in food service
