WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

As a Prep Cook, you play a crucial role in helping the team deliver an exceptional experience to each and every guest. Your culinary training and experience, strong organizational skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail will contribute to delivering perfection on every plate that leaves the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures our guests have an excellent dining experience by correctly prepping food items.
  2. Preparing and cooking menu items during service, while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
  3. Understanding and adherence to food safety regulations.
  4. Portioning, washing, peeling, slicing and mixing ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads and garnishes. Measures and mixes, to make dressings, sauces, salads while following recipes for hot and cold food items.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
  6. Uphold our core values of Grit Hospitality, Leadership, Integrity, and Respect in every interaction.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
