Job Title: Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Resource Data. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure the successful delivery of custom software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and maintain business requirements from customer needs, translating them into technical requirements for custom software solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to document standards, project deliverables, and requirements.
  • Collect information through subject matter interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual information.
  • Document technical and business processes/workflows in narrative and diagrammatic forms, adhering to Resource Data, client, and industry standards and guidelines.
  • Develop test and validation plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience on Agile software engineering teams writing business cases, gathering requirements, developing user stories, writing test documentation, and more for custom software and COTS software development projects.
  • 3+ years' experience with technical writing for audiences such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or other IT and business professionals.
  • Ability to build rapport and earn trust with client teams.
