POSITION: Facility Maintenance Specialist

LOCATION: Camas, WA

SALARY: $20-22 per hour, depending on experience

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, Temporary (3-4 months)

INDUSTRY: Engineering

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will be tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the building and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance and custodial duties aimed at maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. You will need to prioritize and manage your tasks efficiently while collaborating with your team members. A background check will be required upon acceptance of an offer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and clean conference rooms and shared spaces within the facilities.
  • Sanitize restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of breakroom areas, including floors, countertops, and appliances.
  • Ensure restrooms are adequately stocked with supplies.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials appropriately.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean various floor surfaces as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain supply closets, ensuring products are labeled and stored correctly.
  • Perform additional custodial tasks as requested by the Facilities Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively while following instructions.
  • Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
