We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor of Business Communication to join our team at the University of Alabama's Culverhouse College of Business.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate classes in Business Communication, with a focus on effective communication in the corporate environment. The instructor will also be engaged in instructional activities outside of the classroom, including curriculum development, assessing and evaluating students' communication development, and supporting the activities of the communication excellence commons.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate classes in Business Communication
- Develop and implement curriculum for Business Communication courses
- Assess and evaluate students' communication development
- Support the activities of the communication excellence commons
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve departmental and college goals
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Business Communication, Professional Writing, Communication Studies, or a similar discipline with at least 18 hours of relevant graduate coursework. The candidate should be familiar with business writing and norms for communication in the corporate environment.
