About the Role

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill a contract/per diem position at one of our esteemed facilities in Lexington, NC.

Job Summary

This rewarding opportunity involves delivering direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or physicians, encompassing tasks such as medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and provide personalized attention to patients' medical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring, while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough patient assessments, involving physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to craft tailored care plans that meet each patient's unique needs.
  • MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION: Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to established protocols.
  • Wound Management: Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Continuously monitor and meticulously document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, recording changes in their condition, administered treatments, and medication management.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices, promoting overall well-being.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid LPN License: Possess a valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS Certification: Hold current BLS certification.
