Job Description

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting transactions. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at NSI Industries, you will work closely with our team to:

  • Customer Management: Assist with setting up new customers in Netsuite and maintain accurate customer information.
  • Transaction Processing: Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Account and Expense Management: Understand customer accounts and cost centers, resolve purchase order, invoice, and payment discrepancies.

You will also be responsible for verifying and investigating discrepancies by reconciling customer accounts and statements, assisting with month-end closing procedures, and maintaining confidential information.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum High School diploma; a related college degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role, preferably with a manufacturer or distributor.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of accounts Receivable, general accounting procedures, and relevant accounting standards, as well as effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel, is also required.
