About the Role

Vibrantz Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Lockland, Ohio site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, electrical, and control issues encountered throughout the course of a manufacturing shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with safety rules and regulations, attend safety meetings and training, inspect work area for hazards/deficiencies, and initiate actions to correct them. Report injury/illness and/or environmental incidents.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical power distribution, controls, packaging equipment, and utilities to the plant.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform and document routine PMs and all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections, including scale verifications and hoist inspections.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the Maintenance and Shift Supervisors in meeting the daily goals as established by Plant Manager.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform all other tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Skills: Familiarity with industrial electrical maintenance and general aptitude for mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with electrical trouble shooting of controls components such as pressure and temperature transmitters. Strong math skills. Basic Word and Excel knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Batch Processing Experience: Experience with batch processing and milling operations.
