We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President - Aerospace Solutions to join our esteemed leadership team. This role is pivotal in steering the transition from a conventional sales framework to a Customer Business Team model within the Aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our leadership team, you will:

  • Formulate a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored for the Aerospace segment.
  • Foster deep customer relationships with key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and government entities.
  • Implement strategies aimed at driving profitable revenue growth.
  • Lead Customer Business Teams aligned with customer structures.
  • Devise a growth strategy to expand our business into new markets and platforms.

Government Relations:
In this role, you will also spearhead the Government Relations function, leveraging congressional support and enhancing our understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes. Your efforts will be crucial in promoting Hexcel's brand and offerings during the selection process for composite materials.

Market Insight:
Develop a robust understanding of the Aerospace market and competitive landscape, collaborating with the Product Management team. Work closely with Marketing Communication to create impactful promotional materials that enhance customer engagement.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, composites, or chemical engineering.
  • 15+ years of business-to-business sales experience, including leadership roles such as Sales Lead, General Manager, or Sales VP.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A proven track record in leading B2B sales organizations targeting enterprise customers.
  • Expertise in delivering value to enterprises and developing compelling business cases.
  • Experience closing 7-figure deals with C-level executives.
  • Exceptional leadership and sales capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a history of successful cross-functional teamwork.
  • Analytical skills to assess data and inform decision-making.
  • Adaptability to market trends and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
