Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Food Server to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Helena Downtown. As a Food Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Welcome and seat guests in a timely and courteous manner, take food and beverage orders, and serve meals with a smile.
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to provide recommendations and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Payment and Accuracy: Accurately process payments and ensure the accuracy of guest checks to protect both the guest and the business.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized dining area, restock supplies, and perform side work as instructed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior food service industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Customer Focus: Possess a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) is required.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Time Management: Outstanding time management and organizational skills are necessary to maintain a high level of productivity.
