Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to lead the development of electronics product requirements, feature requirements, systems, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 4G/5G Call processing related features, air interface technologies, and system design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze electronics product requirements, feature requirements, systems, and performance analysis
  • Conduct deep-dive customer sessions on 4G/5G Call processing related features and air interface technologies
  • Analyze customer electronics requirements, converting them into system requirements and capturing detail design for the development team
  • Lead technical discussions on Samsung electronics products and scheduler-related features with customer vertical organizations
  • Author technical proposals, research, and white papers, design documents, operator network design, RFI/RFP, and patent filings
  • Accountable for leading field integration testing efforts (FFA/FIT/FSA) of all 4G/5G key features with customers
  • Evaluate and analyze electronics product and feature performance, new product and software releases, and third-party product evaluation
  • Translate and communicate complex technical design considerations between the Samsung sales team and carriers' network business

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related job titles
  • Experience with the wireless industry, 3GPP standards, CDMA/EVDO, 5G and LTE/Volte technologies, optimization, testing, drive-data and peg count analysis, Base Station Vendor equipment, RF and data network protocols, and Mapping Software
