The Rinaldi Group of Florida, a prominent builder specializing in mid-rise and high-rise residential, hotel, and office structures, is in search of a highly qualified individual for the role of Project Manager.

Position: Construction Project Management (Florida: Miami Dade, Broward & Palm Beach Counties)

Key Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge and experience across all 16 AIA-Trade Classifications of construction, including site logistics and safety in coordination with local authorities, as well as expertise in site work, concrete foundations, superstructures, building envelopes, elevators, and MEP systems.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction projects valued between $10 million and $150 million, covering ground-up, renovation, and conversion projects of mid-rise and high-rise buildings.
  • The candidate must demonstrate self-motivation, cost-awareness, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, alongside excellent communication and documentation skills, including job reporting, weekly progress meetings, and direct interaction with owners and design teams, as well as subcontractors and trade contractors.
  • Hands-on experience with project management software such as Sage, Primavera, MS Projects, Procore, Raken, Submittal Exchange, or similar tools is essential.
  • The candidate should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Most importantly, the individual must embody loyalty and commitment as a team player.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing all project activities, managing subcontractors and vendors, scheduling staff, coordinating trades, and ensuring compliance with DOB and OSHA safety regulations.
  • The candidate must effectively drive the project schedule in collaboration with subcontractors and their teams.
  • A strong personality with exceptional leadership and field management skills is required.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the pre-construction team, including the Estimating Department, to develop project budgets and schedules, particularly in creating and enhancing standardized Scope-of-Work documents;
  • Working alongside Estimating and Purchasing to prepare and draft subcontractor and trade contractor Scope-of-Work and Contract Documents, including the creation and maintenance of Drawing Logs, Specification Manifests, and Assumptions & Qualifications sheets;
  • Compiling, organizing, and submitting Monthly Statistical Reports for owners and their lenders, encompassing progress reports, RFI Logs, Bulletin Logs, Change Order Logs, Submittal Logs, and Cost-Control Reports, including contingency transfers and manpower reports;
  • Documenting and updating meeting minutes for Owner Progress/OAC meetings, Subcontractor and Vendor Coordination meetings, and Safety/Tool-Box meetings;
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and expediting third-party inspections and testing;
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of operational processes and strategies;
  • Managing the procurement and scheduling of materials and equipment deliveries, providing scheduling input for in-house schedulers, and submitting daily reports, time-sheets, and manpower logs;
  • Providing full-time on-site supervision over all construction activities;
  • Organizing the project team and assigning tasks effectively.
