Medical Assistant Care Coordinator

Ochsner Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Support patients and healthcare providers throughout the patient visit, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information in company data systems.
- Collaborate with fellow employees to ensure efficient patient flow and provide exceptional customer service.
To succeed as a Medical Assistant Care Coordinator, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal medical assistant training program.
- Experience working with confidential information in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
