Job Summary

Penn Power Group is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Associate to join our team in Fleetwood. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring seamless parts transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Deal directly with customers at the parts counter and over the phone, taking the necessary actions to meet their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and documents, and have a working knowledge of all product lines and their applications.
  • Parts Transactions: Prepare and process parts orders, and have a working knowledge of the Parts computer system and other information systems.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and may order and expedite parts as necessary.
  • Product Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of all product lines, and understand their applications and features.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and maintaining records.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years of equivalent experience in a parts department or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills, good administrative skills, and inventory management experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Paragon software and AS400 software.

Accountabilities

  • Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized department, and assist with direct customer contact as required.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
