Insurance Sales Representative Job Description

As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative at The Franklin Agency, you'll be part of a team that values positivity and a customer-centric approach. We're looking for an ambitious self-starter who can work in a collaborative environment. You'll be responsible for establishing trust with clients, presenting and explaining insurance policy options, and addressing client objections and concerns. If you're a skilled communicator with a consultative approach, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use exceptional relationship-building skills to establish trust with clients and maintain retention and product loyalty.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, warm leads, internet leads, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Skillfully address client objections and concerns, utilizing a consultative approach to provide solutions and overcome objections, ultimately securing their confidence and trust in our services.
  • Assist clients in navigating their insurance policies and answering any questions they may have.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 1-2 years of insurance industry experience but we are willing to help get license for the right employee.
  • Ambitious self-starter who can work in a collaborative environment.
  • Set and work towards performance goals to meet or exceed targets, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, both with clients and team members, to provide clear, concise, and informative responses.
  • Exemplify professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
