Key Responsibilities
- Execute experiments utilizing cell lines and tissues while adhering to sterile protocols.
- Maintain both 2D and 3D mammalian cell cultures, including fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and endothelial cells.
- Conduct general laboratory tasks, including pipetting, solution preparation, and operation of analytical instruments such as pH meters and autoclaves.
- Perform a variety of bioassays, including ELISAs and viability tests.
- Carry out microscopic evaluations using dark field, light field, and fluorescence techniques.
- Assist in the validation processes for immunoassay methodologies.
- Engage with microbial and bacteriophage samples for testing.
- Collaborate in the development of innovative methods and processes based on established testing protocols.
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness and maintain inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
- A PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
- Strong background in experimental design for cellular and microbiological studies is preferred.
- Proficient aseptic techniques and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, demonstrating self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
