Senior CAD Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Drafter to join our team at Jobot. As a Senior CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for assisting surveyors with survey points, CAD work, research, boundary analysis, and legal descriptions. You will also collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction team members to understand project requirements.

• Assist surveyors with survey points, CAD work, research, boundary analysis, and legal descriptions
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction team members to understand project requirements
• Utilize CAD software to develop detailed designs and technical schematics
• Perform quality control checks on drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage and maintain project documentation and records
• Assist in the development of design standards and procedures
• Provide technical support to project teams as needed

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in CAD Drafting, Land Surveying, and Autodesk Civil 3D
• An associate's degree or higher in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not a requirement
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software
• Excellent technical drawing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong understanding of construction methods and processes
• Knowledge of civil engineering concepts and land surveying techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact effectively with all levels of staff
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information
