Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package that aligns with our organizational values and mission. The hourly wage for this role is $17.50.

Position Summary: The Facility Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a secure and supportive living environment for our Single Adults. This role involves maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the facility during non-operational hours. Duties include light cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a comfortable and dignified living space for residents. Experience working with vulnerable populations is advantageous.

Living Arrangements: The Facility Supervisor will reside on-site, providing the opportunity to work and live in a supportive community, with NO RENT obligations.

Work Schedule: This position requires availability on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, totaling 20 hours per week.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of some high school education.
  • 1-3 years of experience in security, residential management, or janitorial services.
  • Experience with vulnerable populations is a plus.
Required Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED certification is mandatory. The Facility Supervisor must reside in the provided living space (efficiency or one-bedroom unit).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Maintenance: Conduct daily cleaning of common areas, staff restrooms, community rooms, and kitchens. Perform light maintenance tasks, such as unclogging toilets and changing light bulbs. Ensure walkways are clear of snow and ice during winter months.
  • Safety Oversight: Perform hourly inspections of the building and grounds; monitor access points and individual floors; observe and report any suspicious activities; document all concerns. Communicate any emergency or security issues to Program Management.
  • Program Support: Conduct resident drug and alcohol screenings as required. Maintain a daily communication log to inform the Service Coordinator and Program Manager of all building activities, especially regarding residents with special needs. Participate in mandatory training sessions throughout the year.

  • Flexibility and capability to manage multiple tasks under competing priorities.

  • Effective communication skills with diverse populations.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Program Manager.

Position Designation: This role is classified as Safety Sensitive, and candidates may be subject to drug testing prior to or during employment. Presence of marijuana in test results may disqualify candidates, even with a medical authorization.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The role involves active duties requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Work may be conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions.
